Creating and Managing an Ethical Environment
This workshop accentuates the importance of departmental policies and procedures, as well as employees’ job
duties and responsibilities. This workshop will explore the principle(s) that governs ethical attitudes and conduct
in the workplace. We will also analyze good and bad behavior, moral duties and professional obligations. We
will survey the various ethical guidelines that employees are required to know and adhere to. In addition, this
workshop will discuss historical ethical dilemmas and concerns that have resurfaced with a new twist.
Participants will also explore ways of minimizing unethical conduct and issues surrounding officer’s discretions
and integrity.
Keith V. Branch is licensed by the State Bar of Texas. He has practiced law since May 1990 in multiple Texas
counties. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Keith V. Branch Attorney At Law, PLLC, a general
civil practice law firm. He has over several decades of working, training, and consulting in the management of
criminal and juvenile justice. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Houston Downtown Campus,
and formerly of Prairie View A&M University, and Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of
Law. He has formerly served as a Resource Training Officer for Sam Houston State University’s College of
Criminal Justice. Keith has also served as the National Chairman and Executive Director of the National
Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ). He has been and continues to serve as legal counsel for several
companies and non-profit organizations. He has received numerous awards and belongs to many professional
organizations.
Keith has consulted, trained, lectured, and spoken to audiences of all ages across the country.
